The Museum Trip

On Tuesday 26th Of June Room three went on a trip to the Rotorua Museum..We didn't go into the museum we went into the tea house.

My Hei Tiki is a wonderful light brown covered in designs.Cut out felt in different shapes of our own.

Blue felt orange felt pink felt and red felt.The most struggling thing of all was sewing on our buttons for the eyes.Sewing the button was quite fun as well though.We cut out big shapes and small shapes.I used a pretty red as if it was a little pretty rose.I also used pink as if it was a wonderful view of pink pretty flowers..I used blue that looked like a beautiful violet and lucky last i used Orange as if it was a bright sunny day with a rash of orange covering the sun.

Hei Tiki's and Tiki's are different. Tiki's are like carvings and statues that can be seen in a Marae and Hei Tiki's are necklaces. They are both very special.

On Thursdy in room 3 we adapted games.The game we adapted was snakes and ladders.But we called it giraffes and alligators.We used cardboard wrapped in wrapping paper thats used for christmas or birthdays.We used green paint to make some squares.After that dried we used a permanent marker for the numbers.Later on we asked Mrs D number 2 to print some girrafes and alligators and we glued them onto our board game

sacred heart

This is my art of the sacred heart of JESUS.Jesus's sacred heart represents the love he has for us.It als represents the flames represent Jesus burning love for us.The cross represents the crucifixion the ultimate sacrifice.The crown of thorns represents Jesus suffering and agony.

Cross Country

On Monday We had cross country in the red woods.I went to the red woods with Mrs Dunkley and Vanessa Ysabella and Kamiria. When we arrived to the red woods we had to put our bags onto the tarpaulin.We started playin Paper scissors rock with mrs Cato .A couple minutes later it was our turn to race.I didnt come first and i didnt come last.I had fun at cross country but i didnt like having the stitch.Doing cross country was so fun.
