Going to rainbow springs

last week on Thursday all the year 5 and 6 went to Rainbow Springs For our end of year trip!Mrs Todd sorted out rides with the adults.I went with Aunty Tinei Malia Te oki Charli Charles Dylan Makyla and Tara.But our group for walking around was the same but with olivia in our group and te oki in another group.we had a look arund then had our morning tea and went to the bird show and had lunh had aplay and went back to school.!🙂🙂.

pine cone Christmas tree.

On Monday we made Christmas trees out of pine cone.We painted the pine cones white or green and colored our base green black or red.I painted my pine cone white and put little green dots around it .Then on Tuesday we decorated it with tinsels ribbons and Christmas cards.I only used blue tinsel then i cut it and wrapped it around the base.I also colored my base green🙂.
I had lots of fun🙂🙂

Swimming at the aquatics centre

Yesterday room 1 went to the aquatics centre for our last swimming lesson.We went into our same groups.But te oki wasnt swimming at school so she had to join our group.Our group was Me dylan cohen makyla charles and te oki.Our instructor was Jess.The first pool we swam in was the outside and then we swapped with the people in the inside pool and it was the deep pool.I had so much fun but i ended up having a head ache and i felt really daisy.

Today we decorated the google logo on scratch.Mrs Todd sent us the scratch starter and  we decorated it.We put backgrounds and pictures on it.My theme was Christmas.I added a reindeer a snowman a Christmas background and two Christmas trees and i changed the letters to pictures shaped like them.

sewing cards

Yesterday in room 1 we sewed some Christmas cards.What we did was sew a chrismas tree onto our peice of paper..After we finished sewing with on colour we got to pick another colour .WE just sewed it diagonally😺then we did i diagonally again but on the other side of it.After that we had to sewwa piece of white paper on top of th black piece of paper and then mrs todd wrote merry christmas in a different language if we wanted to in gold and silver permanent marker...

12 trials

Today we did a 12 trials and we partnered up with someone. I partnered up with Charlotte.So what we had to do was put our hand in side each bag and try guess what the object that was inside it.Some felt so weird and so DISGUSTING.The one that felt the most yuckiest was the chocolate yogurt and the melted jelly 😒😒 .The one that felt so mysterious was the sausage even though i got it right!It felt so weird.!!Then after we guessed what it was we had to write it down on our piece of paper and if we get lots right we either get 1 or two ticks on the roll of honour...
